| Bulgaria outstands Sydney and Rio by popularity |

Britain's Daily Mirror newspapaer put Bulgaria before the Australian Sydney and Brazilian Rio de Janeiro in popularity among tourists on the island. The analysis of the UK Centre for Economic and Business Research, quoted by the newspaper, determines our country as the most preferred summer holiday destination for Britons, displacing the two most popular cities to date.
Bulgarian beaches received the highest score out of 10 possible according to the British tourists criteria, including climate, quality and price of food, security, hotel services, tourist attractions. The Daily Mirror points out that Bulgaria is ahead of Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt in the overall standings. Sydney and Rio did retreat leading positions mainly because of the higher costs for travel to them and their more expensive resorts. source: HOREMAG |
