Mayors of 20 Bulgarian Municipalities in Veliko Tarnovo signed a memorandum establishing the Association of towns heritage. Attendees are Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa Elena Lyaskovets Satovcha, Nessebar, Pomorie, Dryanovo, Tryavna, Kotel and Troyan.
Initiative is the creation of the Association of Veliko Turnovo on the model of the French national association of cities and regions in the protection, twin town in which a member of the old capital city of Bayonne. The aim of the Bulgarian Association is developing policies involving local authorities, experts and citizens to protect and promote the cultural heritage of the cities.
