| The municipalities get the mineral springs |

Since the beginning of 2011, municipalities will be entitled to enjoy the mineral springs, which are state owned. These amendments to the Water Law, adopted at first reading in Parliament.
The municipalities will receive to use only those sources which have not yet committed to the concession or mineral water used for drinking water. Ministry of Environment and Water will be determined annually a list of these deposits. Municipal councils on the ground will determine the tariff or charge shall give to use mineral deposits. Revenues from the use of springs will be full to the respective municipalities. According to Minister of Environment and Water Nona Karadjova, the country used less than 30% of deposits of mineral waters. The bill also provides up to 2013 to draw up maps of the areas threatened by floods. These maps will be reflected in development plans of municipalities. So the chief architects of places will be able to assess the system of issuing building permits.
