| Ryanair is going to fly to/from Plovdiv in November |
|
From the beginning of November 2010, the low-cost airline Ryanair will be operating flights from Plovdiv airport. Flights will be conducted twice a week to Stansted airport in London.
The airline is expected to carry around 30 000 passengers in Bulgaria per year, as their ambition by 2013 this figure reached 200,000. In March 2010 the State halved airport charges, landing and passenger service of Plovdiv Airport. The purpose of the reduction is to encourage tourism, business travel and freight deliveries. |
